These restored cottages nestled within the picturesque ruins of Beauvale Priory, surrounded by trees and fields where little has changed over the centuries, often referred to as Pulchra Vallis, each cottage has its own unique style with a clever mix of both the old and new.

With acres of gardens and woodlands of which you are free to roam amidst the heart of this ancient ruin Beauvale Priory also enjoys an enviable location for exploring the Heart of England, with a glut of rich woodlands and country parks to include Clumber and Thoresby, on the Welbeck Estate the Harley Gallery, farm shop and school of Artisan Foods. A short distance away Chatsworth House and gardens. Spend a day in Nottingham, a capital of culture, take in the D H Lawrence birthplace museum and city of caves before a lazy lunch in a popular restaurant. For cyclists take advantage of the cycle routes, Adventure Pine route and Ancient Sherwood route.

 

Guided tour of the Priory ruins available. Tea rooms on site, open every Wednesday to Sunday. Fishing can be arranged directly with the owners. Farm activities: guests are welcome to explore the grounds and see the sheep, goats and hens. Shared utility room: with washing machine. Lockable store for bikes and fishing equipment. Outside: an enclosed area with seating. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. Location: shop 2 miles and pub 1 mile. Arrival: 3pm.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Shower room: with shower and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with woodburner (first basket of logs included), TV and DVD. Kitchen area, well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Amenities: 1 dog by arrangement.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
